Re: the new Canadian territories...I remember 'Nunavit' but for some reason, couldn't come up with it at the time...just a sign of old age.  (I actually haven't seen any detailed maps of the new territories yet.

first
in order to simplify & codify the names of the multipoints
some of us have been using the standard 2letter postal abbreviations for
the constituent states & provinces & countries & just arranging these in
alphabetical order

so bcwazazi is the botswana namibia zambia zimbabwe quadrinational point

http://www.state.gov/www/regions/independent_states.html gives the usgovts
full roster of these wonderful national diglyphs
a deep study in themselves
but i digress

i certainly understand & appreciate & share your low opinion of the wetpoints
yet it must be said in fairness to them that they have frequently been the
most entertaining ones to visit


& finally
you cant be serious about the new canadian territories
