for years i lived in brookline, massachusetts, (norfolk county) which is pretty much surrounded by boston (suffolk county). plenty of times i would go on my tri-county run: brookline-boston-cambridge (middlesex county), running through the two or three block salient that arif mentions below.

checked Suffolk county.  There is no enclave, but
there is two or three block salient.  A few other such
thin salients exist in USA.  I will be updating the
site in the next few days with some other possible,
but non-confirmed enclaves and semi-enclaves.
