Hello again,
for those interested in exclaves/enclaves I
found
a map of Oman, a country I visited two years
ago
(most fascinating...!). Attached pls find the map
of
the northern part of the country with the
Musandam
peninsula that is cut off from mainland Oman
by
the U.A.E. - according to Rolf's impressive
opus
on "Enclaves of the world" it should be regarded
a
type II exclave, while the Oman exclave of
Madha -
situated half way between Musandam and the
main-
land and clearly visible on the map - must be
regarded
as type III exclave - and is also mentioned in
Rolf's list.
