which the unification depends and which would lead to changes in<br/>
borders of UK bases on Cyprus isn&#39;t turning out to be the &quot;slam dunk&quot;<br/>
some predicted it would be.  With 90% of the votes counted, according<br/>
to the article, 51% of the popular vote was pro-unification, 45%<br/>
against.  The article didn&#39;t say what happened to the other 6%.  The<br/>
percentages mean each side controls 25 seats in the Turkish side&#39;s<br/>
parliament. <br/>
