In the Washington Post yesterday, where was a long and interesting
feature article in the international section about Moroccans,
especially young women making their ways to the Mellila border, then
have locals drive them across. It explained how they are then given
residency that then enabling them to migrate on to mainland Europe.
The text is probably available freely (without password and payment)
on the www.washingtonpost.com website for a few days, yet. I'll scan
the photos and post them at exclave.info when I get a chance. It was
written by a staff reporter, so I doubt if it was syndicated to other
papers.
