well enough to set off at least 1 possible megapoint alert<br/>
but too crudely to complete a preliminary punctoscopy with any confidence<br/>

so pursuing better i found this map<br/>

which resolves nothing finally & suggests a still better map will be needed<br/>
but also throws open the question of whether the 13 regions might trump the <br/>
45 provinces<br/>
& thus greatly simplify the exercise as well<br/>
down to as few as 15 most major tripoints<br/>
situated as it happens at all the tricolor points on this map<br/>

their names however must remain as unknown as the definitive census results <br/>
themselves<br/>
since i had never even heard of the regions before & dont know if they even <br/>
have names<br/>
tho there is at least this one additional recent mention of them<br/>

some names cobbled from various places that may refer to some of these <br/>

southwest<br/>
center east<br/>
east<br/>
northern guinea savannah<br/>
sudan savannah<br/>
north<br/>
northwest<br/>
central<br/>
south<br/>
& gaoua<br/>
<br/>
but admittedly this is a perfect mess<br/>
& my simplified census of 15 triregional points is frankly just wishful <br/>
thinking at this point<br/>
as well as the barest minimum count<br/>
since there may well be dozens more tripoints if all the other <br/>
multiprovincial ones are also counted<br/>
which seems a fairly likely outcome at this point<br/>
