<div id="ygrps-yiv-1582347556">Well I think we&#39;ve hammered down the shortest border question.  Now <br/>
as a former UN peacekeeper I&#39;ve been to both Egypt and South Africa <br/>
in diplomatic protection roles.<br/>
<br/>
     In Egypt they drive on the right (ie the US side of the road)<br/>
<br/>
     In South Africa they drive on the left (ie English side of the <br/>
road)<br/>

   Where does this meet in Africa.  Which two countries border each <br/>
other and drive on opposite sides of the road.  In meeting South <br/>
Africans I posed this question and one of them told me that he had <br/>
been to both Namibia and Zimbabwe and they drove on the South African <br/>
side of the road.  (ie UK style - drive on left and steering wheel on <br/>
the right)<br/>

   A Scandinavian guy once told me that Norway used to drive on the <br/>
UK side but switched quite literaly one Sunday, the police stopped <br/>
all traffic and turned around the street signs at like 2am.</div>
