The Russian side of the FINORU marker was using the name of Muotkavaara (in
Cyrillic letters). Muotkavaara is also the Finnish name of the place, but do
no confuse it with the place of Muotkavaara at Muonio, near the Swedish
border.
The Norwegian name is «Krokfjellet», which probably means the same as the
Finnish name, namely "Crooked Mountain".
