During the SBBE Linas (on the picture), our third Lithuanian border freak -
a 32 years old biologist from Kaunas, and I discovered that there now are
single boundary posts on all the LTPL boundary. Earlier we have noticed the
same at the LTLV boundary. The good old double markers are now only to be
found at the BYLT boundary.

At the Kalvarija (LT)/Budzisko (PL) border we not found BP 140 where we
earlier had the nice BP 1925 (see
http://home.no.net/enklaver/borders/lithuania.htm ) with a nice huge centre
marker.

If this development is continuing in this speed the situation for us border
freaks is very dramatic as it results that the number of boundary posts in
Europe is decreasing very rapidly!!!

SAY IT AIN'T SO, MIKE!!!
