is an aerial view of the upper pilcomayo valley & parallel river
road in paraguay
so argentina is in the foreground
& with any luck arbopy & a bit of bolivia are within frame at left
but the emphasis here is on luck & wishful thinking
& i make no claim of a true sighting but only of an exhaustive try
made over a period of several years
& a resultant best guess & hope

a search of the relevant ibs numbers did identify both the arbo &
arpy convergents as true thalweg borders
& it even cited the intersection of this thalweg with a particular
integral degminsec of longitude as the actual tripoint position
but such a definition seems doubtful because the geodesic arby
convergent is not meridional & is marked by pillars including a
terminal marker on the left bank

so if the claim is literally & precisely true
it would have required another rare triple coincidence
much like the one just actually observed at brcove

so i doubt it

but anyway the tripoint must be close to that exact degminsec

my search included a visit with the interesting people who live in
the area
the wichi indians
particularly on the argentinian side at santa victoria este

i.htm

& from various clues i can also guess wildly at additional lucky
hits in a couple of the pix of the river shown here

tm

but for now please consider them all very probably class e
or i would just be pretending to you
