i had visions of an iamnsd to mbmnnd race <br/>
running straight up our beloved old damn line <br/>
& thus paddling or peddling right thru mnndsd for the trifecta<br/>

but any such hopes were quickly dashed by the mention of the <br/>
first way station <br/>
saint cloud <br/>
yikes<br/>
practically in the middle of the state<br/>
<br/>
so then i thought<br/>
aha<br/>
but a diagonal transit of minnesota would be even more <br/>
ambitious than simply running up its west edge<br/>
<br/>
& in fact the sw to ne transit of mn is the grandest one possible<br/>
<br/>
& iamnsd to mimnon via mimnwi would indeed be an even more <br/>
challenging route<br/>
so maybe they know what they are doing after all<br/>
<br/>
but reading on again <br/>
there is no such luck or vision here<br/>
as the finish line point on caus proves to be far from tripunctal<br/>
& is actually a rather nondescript destination <br/>
from a bp point of view<br/>

in fact it isnt really clear from the article whether these folks will <br/>
be punctilious enough to place the finish exactly on caus<br/>
<br/>
nor even to start at the precise iamnsd tripoint for that matter<br/>
in all candor<br/>
oops<br/>

but 2 great ideas are born<br/>
the tri tripoint triathlon <br/>
& the minimax transit<br/>
tho both of the executions are busts<br/>
