I'm a diehard 35mm man for field work but would like to purchase a
good scanner in order to share some of my photo material with the
digital world. So far, my research using quality and budget as the
primary bounds, point me in the direction of the HP S20 PhotoReady
model. It costs around $500, has 2400dpi optic quality and will
directly scan 35mm negatives/positives and up to 5in x 7in prints.
Anyone have experience with this one? Or, does anyone have any other
points on scanners for pointers? GB
