thank you again bernd
& please understand i was just making fun of our american lingo
which does indeed often say dutch for deutsche

congrats also on being only our third member to report visiting any tri
country point whatsoever

which is perhaps also comical
in view of our ambitious introductory blurb
but true i think

by my unofficial & probably incomplete count you are tied with brendan for
silver at 1 tripoint each
while peter is still solidly golden with a total of 9
tho i believe he has reported on only 5 or 6 so far

i mean collectively we may only have some 11 total visits to as few as 9
points in all

we are still anticipating word of other tripoints visited by peter or others
& are earnestly hoping new members will also chime in about any other such
points as they may have visited

curiously all 3 of you who have reported any visit at all have chanced on
the very same point
bedenl near aachen
the odds against which coincidence are over 300 to 1

also our collective collection has remained stalled for some time at 6
known points visited or at least viewed at close range
bedenl
bedelu
chdefr
atchde
athusk
arbrpa
if i am not mistaken
plus probably 3 others still unnamed

so if you do happen to pass thru befrlu &or defrlu in southern luxemburg en
route to basle
you will probably be discovering & laying claim for us to virgin territory
so far as i know

& if you are able to reach the actual chdefr point in the middle of the
rhine river very near the tri country monument in basle
you will be the first to do so & will win a special award for attaining
this elusive & challenging objective

with best wishes
m
