Mike, thanks for the comment on the satllite photos.

I agreed that they are not ideal, but they are a fine solution until a more precise photo is found. Satellite photos are also nice to compare to maps. Looking at terraserver is also quiet interesting. I myself enjoyed finding the border in Nicosia, Cyprus as I had actually been there.

One particular interesting satelli photo is
