Dear Mike, thanks for your quick reply on this tp. I admit,
the whole matter is a bit confusing - but I think I know
what happened:
Our Tp is on Mt. Forno - Ofen - Pec
(Ital-German-Slov. names)and the elevation is 1509 m
(I'm consulting my 1:25.000 topomap right now...)
Another mountain - range about 10 km south of the
Austrian town of Bleiburg - 50 km further east - is
called Petzen (German name). So Petzen and Pec are
in fact two different mountains....Sorry, Gideon, but
you got these things mixed up...
All the best - btw tomorrow Friday, I'll be heading
for Sweden in order to say hello to my very best
friend near Gothenburg - sorry, no boundaries or
the like , just fall foliage, nice scenery and a couple
(?) of drinks (hot milk, of course) . Have a nice
weekend
Pete
