thanx jesper for the new pix

while probing your map for the link points
of which i have only managed to check the chpk pic so far
i discovered also your space shot of tp azerbaijan iran turkey
almost imagining i could see the river confluence that defines it

& had there been such a discernible point on the pic
i think i would have claimed it as a fullblown cheapo
tho i realize there might be a difference of opinion about such a call

neverthess this find of yours was inspirational not only for itself but for
the whole treasure trove of space shots that accompany it
so while i dove right in & proceeded to probe & test the limits of my own
credibility with the full results of your search
i did find
http://images.jsc.nasa.gov/images/pao/STS5/10060995.jpg
which has the virtue of containing both of the 2 tps that occur within lake
chad & of showing the lake sharply enough to plot their positions
namely
tp chad niger nigeria
midway across the upper portion of the lake from where the river enters at
upper left
&
tp cameroon chad nigeria
directly below the first tripoint & actually 54 miles southeast of it
midway across the narrow waist of the lake

yet on further reflection
all these shots
even if they do lack the necessary focus
would enhance the collection of tp pix
i think
at least until sharper shots show up

& they will also make it possible to complete the collection sooner than later
however superficially perhaps or rather atmospherically
which i also think would still be a big plus
now that i have glimpsed a few of the more forbidding tp locations
because there is something that appeals to me about being able to complete
this project in some sense during our lifetime

anyway
any opinions about this
or about how the collection might proceed in any other way
