thank you peter

the encyclopedia of international boundaries
by gideon biger
in collaboration with the international boundaries research unit
university of durham england
publisher facts on file
jerusalem 1995
125 simoleons at amazon

i confess it is wonderful to find even my gargantuan appetite surfeited by
this book
& of course you are entirely welcome to share in the banquet
especially until next monday when i must return it
tho it will remain in easy reach for me & therefore us
in the school you may recall a bridge above west cornwall

but this feasting is after all just the continuation of the celebration we
began last week at bedenl or tp belgium germany holland upon seeing your
personal photo & therefore attaining our collective firsthand
quintipopperdom there

& to further enhance this milestone & its multipoint
let me add now from memory something gideon only partly confirms
which is that the present bedenl point was between 1919 & 1922 actually a
trinational quadripoint with a binational bede neutral zone
& the conjunction as a whole was therefore topologically identical to the
other suspected similarly defunct example which arif is on the track of at
present day tp iraq kuwait saudi arabia

& well
since i cant stop
& while i have the good book open anyway
let me answer the questions i imagine you have about denmark

first gideon obviously has the very highest regard for denmark because
after expressly excluding maritime boundaries from the scope of his work he
quite inexplicably proceeds to give all of denmarks maritime boundaries

you go figure it

then his photo selection for denmark was also quite extraordinary
featuring basically not 1 but 2 enchanted bikepath crossings of dedk
plus a pretty girl & large rock
& overall a great atmospheric quality reminiscent of your bedelu photos &
report
which i am glad to mention again here also because i just realized that
bedelu is the coterminal point of bedenl along the bede line
& so we are marking here our first achievement of a matched pair of tps as well

gideon gives lots of neat historical data which you probably know too
like the fact that danish was spoken in parts of england until the 12th century
etc
etc
but i will not ramble unless you ask

for myself
with more of a pointers than a bounders appetite
frankly i would rather pump the money into the gas tank
or better yet into the gcebe
since i know firsthand that brownlies african & probably the other regional
bibles also contain more detailed info about the tps themselves than gideon
generally does
just because they are bound to include the original documents & to be
generally more punctilious by design

thanx again
& share the abundance however you like

where to next
