And as of Friday, the 2002 Edition of the CIA World Fact Book is up
and you can also download it for local use. (As I am doing now)
I you wonder why the 2002 edition has been just released, It seems
that the Fact book is published at the end of the Fiscal Year which
was Sept 30th. Hope everyone had a happy New Year (Fiscal). Until 2
weeks ago I worked in federal accounting and know many colleges who
worked late in the night to setup the accounting systems at various
agency of the US Government - without having any budgets approved by
Congress.
