Yeah, the tongues of land jutting out into another
countries are pretty common. I am sure there are many
if we look at maps of countries in detail. I was
aware of the Elm Point and one other Minnesota ones.
There should be one each in Washington (besides Point
Roberts) and New York. I have seen two such places in
India-Bangladesh border caused by rivers. There is
one tongue of Uganda in Lake Victoria. There are also
two piers of Iraq which juts out from Kuwaiti
territory.

Some other zoomable sites, from great to mediocre are
1) Vaud, Switzerland -
http://www.geoplanet.vd.ch/0_frame.asp?NAME=ENVIRONNEMENT
(Zooms up to individual houses)
2) South Africa -
http://www.leisuremap.co.za/hotscript/hsrun.exe/webapps/guide/MapXtreme.htx;start=start_map?Guide=Symbols
(Don't expect much)
3) For Netherlands -
http://www.locatienet.nl/ (The best)
http://www.goudengids.nl/ (The Baarle borders are
good)
4) For Belgium -
http://www.yellowpages.be/ (Not so great except for
Baarle boundaries)

Maptech and Terraserver, besides topozone has American
topo maps. Maptech also has shoreline photos and maps
which you can print out. Terraserver zooms in to the
1:24,000 which is annoying except when you look for
thin boundaries. Www.falk.de also has mapquest level
maps. One of my interests lie in finding local
enclaves and as almost all of the countries has
international or local enclaves, I just found the
sites.
