because the delaware boundary monuments website seems to almost volunteer
the data for an easy cardinal extremities tour of that state
i continued with such a chase this morning
but hopes of a definitive roundup were dashed when it proved arduous to
impossible to distinguish continental from insular lands
owing to the extensive marshes & channeling all up & down that coast
for what it might be worth tho
the story thus far is noted below
des absolute at boundary monument 5
38deg 27min 03sec 81561frac
previously mentioned
dew monumental at arc stone 3
75deg 47min 21sec 7192frac
not necessarily the same as dew absolute
which will require more data & math
den monumental at boundary milepost 15
39deg 50min 21sec 85000frac
not necessarily the same as den absolute
which will also require more data & math
dee monumental at boundary monument 0
75deg 03min 19sec 18500frac
interesting stone but not very close
dee dry & insular
slight projection of beach at fenwick island
opposite st matthews church
dee continental
anybodys guess due to marshlands etc
dee absolute the wet point
3nm or 18240 feet east of dee dry above
interesting too that both den & dew are on arcs

ps to randy
i also learned you were right about 1921
this being the year the legislature of delaware & the united states
congress legally accepted that reality
