yes
very cool when the supposed counterparts are out of all relation to each other

that is another reason why i am hoping you will create a filing system for
state cardinals & corners at the corner corner that permits all the various
sorts of extremities to coexist simultaneously

i realize that would multiply many of our 50x8=400 basic points by a factor
of 2 or 3 or even 4 in a few cases
but i dont imagine the grand total would rise by more than about 20 percent
since the dry extremities are so often the same as the absolute ones
& what we are talking about here are some of the freakiest rare exceptions

also if you can & do somehow encourage finding & keeping track of them all
i am sure the research exercise alone would raise endless fun & dust

perhaps just such a case in point
for i am not sure i understand you completely here yet

nhw wet & dry seem to me very close to each other by comparison with vtw
wet & dry

i believe i do know & love the little island you are talking about tho
having spent several peaceful nights on this final & neglected bit of new
hampshire just beside the little bridge that then deposits you in downtown
brattleboro

actually there are 2 places of dry contact between these 2 states
both involving reclaimed land along the left bank of the river
& both are great favorites of mine also

the one you are probably talking about is at killcohook natl wildlife mgmt
area just south of new castle
for that area does indeed back right up against dry njw

there was once a delaware state park sign there
but some presumably new jersey bird hunters shot the word delaware right
out of the sign
leaving a big hole in it

i found all that was left of that missing word
delawar or delawa by then
in splinters on the ground there just inside nj
& jane was then inspired to bring this artifact home
so it may fairly be said we now have dry njw in our attic

the other bit of delaware on the left bank is smaller than killcohook &
about 10 miles south of there or just northeast of absolute njw the wet
point

the neat part about this one is you have to sneak right past a sizzling
nuclear reactor to get there

both bits of transdelaware delaware are within & caused by the historic 12
mile new castle arc that is also responsible for producing the famous &
distinctive depa boundary curve as well as the much smaller & lesser known
demd segment of the same basic curve & the 2 almost completely forgotten
denj legs of it too

the curve still runs thru the denjpa tripoint & twice also ran thru demdpa
too but no longer
& just could be the most fantastic of all the lines ever drawn on the earth
