I had thought about that Mike, but I didn't want to complicate the issue with two identities.  Since I'm receiving the e-mails OK, I should probably just wait for a "fix" from eGroups.  Basically, "losing my cookies" means that I've somehow lost the files which automatically identify me (my computer) to eGroups...in other words, when I go to BP's main page, it doesn't recognize me and regards me as a non-member.  Luckily, this doesn't affect the e-mails as they are just routed to my e-mail address.  I'm receiving everybody's posts just fine...I just can't go on the web site and access the archives, files, etc.

also btw  it may be my duty to report that bill has lost his cookies
tho i can only guess what that means

say  bill
&or anyone else who is experiencing a similar condition
if indeed you are getting this message at all
how about rejoining the group as a whole new character
like from a different email address or something

would that not do the trick at least temporarily
