Dear Emil,
thanks for reminding me of the resemblance of my name and the "Sherry."
Some facts: Peter Heering is a Liqueur made of cherries and is spelt with
a double "e" - I myself are a little more modest and can do with a single "e"
so it's Hering, but of course I do have a little compensation in having two
"e's" in my first name...There's - unfortunately - no family connection between
the "Heering's and the Hering's" whatsoever, otherwise I'd be stinking rich....
Re: Iceland: For Gods sake, Emil please stay with us in Europe... !!!
Any book on geography would most certainly count Iceland for being a
member of Europe - and Scandinavia ! BTW: are you by any chance
interested in football - there's the big match between Iceland versus Denmark!
Coming up soon !
All the best
Peter
