Luxembourg is bordering three countries:
Belgium (be), Germany (de), France (fr)
- delu is a wet condominium except where the border becomes dry at the detour at Vianden

having

ONE (trinational) tripoint: befrlu
TWO (trinational) trilines: bedelu & defrlu
- as FOUR binational tripoints: be delu lu, be delu lu, fr delu lu, de delu fr
plus
TWO binational tripoints de delu lu n & de delu lu s at Vianden

------------

Question:
Do the boundary markers mark the actual boundary or are they symbolic?
Argument 1: On a newly received map 1:20000 the delu condominium border are shown to follow the shores of the rivers.
Argument 2: On Wolfgang map of defrlu in msg 1170 (http://home.worldonline.dk/~jesniel/border/BorderPointemail.htm)
the boundary marker is some distance from the shore, and the border follows the shore.

Question:
Is binational tripoints only found in Luxembourg?
