What is meant is a GDR exclave. The word 'exclave' is used wrongfully
here. The picture showes the road to the 'exclave', so it can be
compared to the Bernhard-Beyer-Strasse to Steinstuecken. I think here
it is the Wannseestrasse to the GDR area around the streets Am
Boettcherberg, Am Waldrand, and the Tannenstrasse, although I'm not
sure.

Cf. in the article Pepijn posted not so long ago this part: "Die DDR:
Eine Straße breit": "An zwei Stellen wurde es ganz schön eng für die
DDR: Einmal in Klein-Glienicke ganz im Südwesten Berlins an der
Wannseestraße, da war sie wirklich nur so breit wie die Straße. Und
da die Einwohner dieser Fast-Exklave der DDR dieses Straßenstück auch
benutzen mussten, sah sie sich DDR sogar gezwungen, an dieser Stelle
auf den Todesstreifen zu verzichten. Das tat sie sonst selbst an
dieser abgelegenen Stelle beileibe nicht, obwohl das ganze Areal
ohnehin nur mit Sondergenehmigung und nach Passieren eines
Kontrollpostens vom Babelsberger Südufer des Teltowkanals aus über
die Lankestraße erreichbar war. (...)"
