Dear fellow boundary freaks,
attached pls find the latest statistics on
boundary lines from all over the world:
African boundaries - ranking, length of
boundaries and number of neighboring
countries - enjoy...
BTW: there are two sources of statistics:
the one I used: the "Bible" (Gideon Biger)
and CIA's World Fact Book 2000 - land
boundaries...
usually these statistics coincide - with a very
heavy exception:
Boundary betw. Congo - DR Congo !!!
Biger: 9.976 - CIA: 10.744 -
diff: 768 km!
Any explanation ...???
