Andres, an especially warm welcome to our first Estonian in the group!

On an unrelated topic...have you ever heard of the late Paul Saagpakk who passed away in Estonia a couple of years ago after returning home from a long stay in the U.S.?  He was a former college professor of mine in the late 60's - early 70's and a dear friend who was noted as the creator of the first Estonian-English dictionary.  (He was also my son's godfather).  I've never been to Estonia, but have always had a soft spot in my heart for your country due to my many conversations with him.)

Hi everyone!

My name is Andres, 23-years old estonian and I joined today to this
group. Some days earlier I sent to Peter Hering an e-mail concerning
the absurd situation of Estonian-Russian border and I will post him
several photos in order to scan them.
In detail: in the south-east of Estonia there is a road which passes
Russia twice. First, about twenty-thirty metres (!!!) and after that
about one kilometre (near the village "Sesniki"). Unfortunately, I
have no exact maps about this.

Have a nice day,
Andres
