A small note on this: On Dutch maps, boundary markers are normally
indicated by the letters Gp or Gs. Gp means grenspaal. These are,
when on the benl boundary, those tall iron ones. They are numbered 1,
2, 3, etc. Sometimes, there is a Gp with a number and a letter. This
is a newer one that had to be placed in between older ones for
whatever reason (e.g. Gp 268a). A Gs is a grenssteen (=boundary
stone). These are normally smaller boundary stones and serve as
intermediate markers.
