it is much roomier & quieter west of the mississippi<br/>
not that ky is anything but the best of the east mind you<br/>

the kentucky bend bubble exclave was in top form yesterday<br/>
with dynamic weather & many red & white & blue birds all over<br/>
<br/>
there is now the typical welcome to ky sign at the entrance tho<br/>
<br/>
it features a ky outline map but without the bubble<br/>
& the additional legend<br/>
  where education matters<br/>

we made a photo of me providing the bubble with a loop of wire<br/>
  which i chanced to find at the foot of the sign<br/>
<br/>

took the full tour including the obligatory chevy on the levee<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
btw the columbus ferry is defunct<br/>
but the hickman ferry runs by day<br/>
so you  c a n  still get there from here<br/>
except at night<br/>
<br/>
i mean you can still get here from there<br/>
oh well<br/>
