another fantastic job peter

i am impressed & excited

btw
i find attachments & files like this hard to receive & read with my
primitive equipment
but it is possible i got the whole thing anyway
even while much of it did appear as blank squares on my screen

at least it got me to thinking tho
with that soft landing in amsterdam you are offering
it might prove so irresistible & low risk for me
maybe i will join in this spree after all

also
about your earlier list of the 43 continental european tps
on calmer reflection i think it is probably perfect as is

in addition i just received a copy of jrv prescotts 1985 book entitled
the maritime political boundaries of the world
& it is not only quite a shocker for what it does report as of that date
but also clearly only a hint of things to come
with regard to additional tps situated in offshore waters
both already existing ones that are nevertheless not often shown on maps
& also the probable or potential ones that are even still taking shape

in the case of denmark for example
i will report immediately
since i know jesper was interested in this too
prescott shows a maritime tp denmark norway united kingdom or dkgbno
at north lat 56d 05m 12s & east long 03d 15m 00s
& likewise a maritime tp denmark germany united kingdom or dedkgb
at north lat 55d 55m 09s 40h & east long 03d 22m 13s
or both a bit less than 300 nautical miles west of the danish west coast
both legal continental shelf tps dating back to 1972 or earlier

he also mentions a maritime tp denmark norway sweden or dknose
without giving the geocoordinates
dating from 1965

still more intriguingly tho
he indicates that east germany & sweden settled their maritime boundary
between rugen & the swedish coast in 1978 in such a way as to anticipate a
pair of twin maritime tps denmark germany sweden
a potential westerly one or dedksew a few miles southeast of sjaelland
& a potential easterly one or dedksee a few miles west of bornholm
both of which may actually already exist now also
i dont know

he also indicates
a sixth potential or actual danish tripoint may occur just southwest of
bornholm
tp denmark germany poland or dedkpl

& a seventh may lie just east of bornholm
tp denmark poland sweden or dkplse

i hope you guys are satisfied now

also wonderful to notice in this scheme
as you have probably already foreseen too
bornholm appears not just as an island but actually
along with its surrounding waters
as an exclave of denmark in the strict sense of that term

i will report more on the maritimes when i can
but i already see that this topic is an incredibly complicated & shifty one
& likely a real hurdle en route to a comprehensive worldwide list of the tps
