& i would like to proceed however & whenever possible
tho i will soon be going out to play for a few weeks
so no need to stand on ceremony before advancing anything

it looks like several distinct analyses will be necessary anyway
but we knew that going in
& it is fine with me
since i think the more views the merrier the overall topology
& the closer we will come to an appreciation of whatever the objective
reality actually is

in fact i would beg everyone to promote their views with as much analysis
as they would like to offer
because that is where i think it begins to get really interesting

for example
the very likeable & sustainable view of grant
aka the 200nm or eez or sovereign rights view
of what a country comprises has already enjoyed some play here
in message 1281 etc for claves & message 247 for tripoints
but such partial analyses as these could now be greatly improved upon

& let me say the detailed exchange of views between peter & grant was well
worth the price of admission alone
nor do i insist on calling anything anything

the only reason i personally have now for proceeding with the 12nm survey
in preference to the 200nm survey is again the matter of consensus reality
since that is what i have set out to discover
& in this instance it is a consensus about what the nature of sovereign
territory is
because here again there actually is a ready made consensus
thanx in this case very substantially to the unclos agreements

but there is no need nor reason for anyone here to join in any consensus
i mean it neednt reflect our consensus of what the truth is
since we have already acknowledged that consensus reality & real reality
are almost bound to be 2 entirely different things anyway
