& indeed we did look into this in subsequent messages

as many will recall



& i do intend to visit the area literally later this spring

but are there any other specific examples of indian reservations doing this checkerboard thing that you may be aware of



the phenomenon may seem secondary or tertiary or even less important in normal terms

but with claims of indian sovereignty growing louder everywhere

our elite little club of 2 or 3 world class boundary crosses could actually be subject to explosive growth at any time

so i think it behooves us to keep an eye out for indians

just as we are keeping a lookout for new maritimes etc
