peter
what a beauty
nice shooting

moreover i found 2 margarets of austria
& both are even earlier than 18th c
one d1611 & the other d1530

& another fascinating aspect of any austrian rocks found on the benl line
is that they must have lapsed as international boundary markers centuries
before the belgian dutch cleavage in the 1830s restored them to active
international duty

they may have continued to serve in the interim as internal dutch boundary
markers
but of course i am only guessing about that

i do think however that any such interval would not disqualify them as
candidates for the oldest working world class boundary stone
but would rather specially distinguish them as comeback kids
