In a book I have there is a picture of the 2nd map you mention, Arif.
It is a truly big map of New York state. The photograph shows a lot
of people walking around on that map, and an adult person is about as
long as the North-South line across Long Island from Atlantic Beach
northwards. The area is roped off along the eastern state border, and
many tables and chairs have been put on what Connecticut should be
(presumably the restaurant). In this book it says that it is the New
York State pavilion of the 1964 World Exhibition.
