& i would like to add to your & greggs subsequent appreciatiation that
without jacks book i could not have bagged ksmook
if indeed i did bag it
because the brass pin he mentioned has evidently been looted
& only a pothole remains in its place
or at least i am hoping i am right about that

& i would have bagged the difficult idmtwy point if only i had had his book
first
but i didnt

if we can see far it is because we are standing on the shoulders of giants

can you recall the exact position of the brass pin at ksmook

was it precisely centered on & thus perpendicular to the stone tower center

at least that is where i later found a pothole in the center of the road
