And some more pics:

1. The border on the canal Veurne-Dunkirk. The border crosses the
canal, then follows the small ditch to the north. I'm standing on the
southern bank of the canal. The ditch first makes a turn to the right
and passes behind the sign "Welkom in Vlaanderen" ("Welcome in
Flanders"), then turns to the left again. The waterways are a lot
better maintained in West Flanders than they are in French Flanders...

2. The F-N border stone on Maerestraat, near the junction with
Veldstraat. The stone is on the western side of the road, leaving it in
Belgium. The flower bed is only on the Belgian side. A better picture

3. The F-N border stone on Cabourweg, near the junction with
Maerestraat, at the entrance to the French camping ground Ringsloot.
The flower bed here does cross the border. The bottle in the background
(just visible) is in France (of course).
