Mick, I agree.  However, I've often found that finding township or section corner monuments on the ground are also frequently difficult...

bill  i just realized
 
since laorospo like all the other multicounty points in florida is defined in terms of corner points in the public land system
what you have probably found is the corner mark by which the quadpoint is actually defined
& therefore a direct hit on ground zero
 
in that case any other public land system corner point would be corroboration enough
& no need to actually find another multicounty point
