ok david
i withdraw my nomination of you from cape dezhnev & cape prince of wales
as it was only my wishful thinking that you might have glimpsed them from
your st lawrence island flights

overflights are the basis for my own claim to northernmost south america

as for newfy
i would agree to adopting the key west standard there also
especially since the natives do seem to use it themselves
albeit without even having a bridge to the mainland in their case

still for the most universally agreeable continental news tour
a simple & literal standard may be best
or we get stuck with north cape etc etc
& the whole pursuit gets compromised & confused
